What was the highlight of Hotel Samasa Fundao
A great short stay. Best sleep.
Breakfast was very good, fresh. room was clean. bed had a mattress protector, that's important from a cleanliness aspect. nott all accommodations have them and they should. Hotel is very close to the town centre and the train station. Staff were very helpful and although the receptionist said her English was not good it actually was very good. Far better than my attempt at Portuguese.
Not a complaint but a suggestion. the website mentioned bicycle hire but couldn't find more info. It's not very British to ask ( our fault I know it's just a British thing) a leaflet in the room or at the desk would have been useful. Secondly everything except the fresh fruit is covered in the dining room at breakfast time. Unfortunately we observed a guest, a workman, sneeze right over the fruit. a cover would have been helpful. we never tried the fruit after that. Hope these comments help in making the hotel even more popular.

Good location. Nice beds , clean,comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Had a nice balcony. Air conditioning
There was a long very balcony , ??????? No table or chairs out side to enjoy it.

One night stay just to get to know a bit of the area around Fundão
I liked the decoration of the space. I loved the breakfast and the view from my bedroom. I could see some buildings, it's true, but also the landscape and mountains in the distance. The bedroom was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I was there in the winter and did not feel cold. The bedroom is well equipped and it's cozy.
